Bath XR were out on Sunday for their eleventh and final “Build Back Better, Build Back Green” action, including a local focus on cycling and air pollution. Inviting motorists to “honk if you agree” hopefully nudged some towards a bit of reflection on some of the issues raised.
Those taking part were rewarded with all manner of honks, hoots, waving and bicycle bells this week, and the bittersweet irony of so many SUV’s honking for “bail out the planet , not the polluters” and “think globally cycle locally “ was not lost on some!
This series of actions was organised by the the Bath XR ‘Skylarks’ affinity group. Many thanks to Greenpeace supporters and all those from XR who joined the actions.
